Playboy Plus Inks Key Deal in Poland

WARSAW, Poland, — MindGeek’s Playboy Plus Europe has inked a major deal with Multimedia Polska, one of the leading cable operators in Poland.

According to reports, the agreement will result in the continued carriage of Playboy TV, Brazzers TV Europe and The Adult Channel, along with the new launch of Reality Kings TV (RKTV) later this year.

Last April, Playboy Plus launched Reality Kings TV in the Benelux and Central and Eastern Europe under a deal with the M7 Group.

Multimedia Polska provides digital TV with VOD, broadband, mobile data, and fixed-line and mobile voice. The company operates across Poland in more than 200 cities and towns serving more than 816,000 customers that use some 1.6 million services including cable TV, the Internet, telephony, premium channels and others.

“Multimedia Polska is a strong and highly credible market player and we value their ongoing support and commitment to our brands and services. We have enjoyed a long standing relationship with them and this new agreement further cements our shared commitment to deliver new and established brands to the subscribers,” said Christian Foley, managing director for Playboy Plus Europe told Broadband TV news.

Bartlomiej Kasinski, strategy and development department for Multimedia Polska added, “This agreement with Playboy Plus Europe is as a direct result of the popularity of their channels amongst our subscribers and our excellent relationship with the organization. The broadcaster’s channels are already popular with our subscribers and we are confident that the new services will enhance our offer further.”
